Kenneth Ray Taylor of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 26, 1931 at Watson, Arkansas, the son of the late William Earl and Claudie Bell Veazey Taylor. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, during which time, he served for over 2 years in Korea. He was an active member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and was retired from his Alternator/Generator repair business. Kenneth truly had a servant's heart and spent so much of his life serving his community. He had served on the Civil Defense, the Civil Air Patrol, as well as a Deputy Sheriff in Jefferson County. He was one of the founders of the Grant County Rescue and served as Assistant Chief of the Sheridan Fire Department for 13 years. He was an "expert" gardener and raised produce that he gladly gave away to his Church family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and he leaves a rich legacy to all who knew him. Kenneth died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 83.
