Lois Faye Ward, of the Whitehouse Community, passed away February 22, 2015 at home. She was born to Earl and Nellie Stout in the Whitehouse Community. She is survived by her husband, Harold of the home; five children, daughter, Sonja Teters and husband, Robert; daughter, Pam Judd and husband, Gregg; son, Rickey Ward and wife, Catherine; daughter, Donna Lewis and husband, Mark; and daughter, Teresa Hattabaugh and husband, Wallace; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Robbie Schader of Farmington; and Wanda McAdams of Lincoln; and their children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Scott Snell and Morgan Judd. She will also be greatly missed by her constant companion, her beloved dog, Muffin. Lois lived for the beauty of life. She loved the Lord and all of his creatures. She was filled with joy by children and loved to bring joy to their lives. She saw the child in every person and never stopped loving anybody. She could express her wonderment of life in the poetry she wrote throughout her life. Never angry, always loving, her place on this earth was to make the lives of others more enjoyable. She was a wonderful wife and amazing mother; and while we will not be able to talk to her any longer, her memory will carry us all through our lives. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Whitehouse Cemetery with Pastor Dallas Auslam officiating under the direction of Beard's Chapel. There is no scheduled visitation. The family wishes to give their special thanks and gratitude to Roberta, Breanna, Amber and Marsha with Circle of Life Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please show your love and memories for her by making a donation to the Amercian Alzheimer's Foundation at www.alz.org or the NWA Circle of Life Hospice at nwacircleoflife.com.
