Dan Stuart Wier

Dan Stuart Wier, 84, of Dallas, Texas and Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26. Dan was born in Terrell, Texas to Mabel McKinney Wier and James Stuart Wier. He proudly served in the Korean War where he received the Bronze Star. Following the war, he married his wife of 53 years, Daphne Frances Thornton. He studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts and spent his career in graphic art and design. He was the founder and CEO of Creative Directions Inc. in Dallas for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by brother, Bob Wier (Julie); daughters, Kimberley Wier Montez (Alex) and Shannon Wier Kosloski (Anthony); and grandchildren, Maura, Alexa and Stuart Montez; and Linley Kosloski.
