Bobby Wayne Ball, age 83, of Bismarck, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born April 5, 1932 in Bauxite, Ark., where he grew up and graduated in 1952 from Bauxite High School. Bobby was a member of Bismarck First Baptist Church, and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Jacksonville, Ark. Masonic Lodge. He was a national representative for the American Federation of Government Employees, where he served as the national vice-president. He was preceded in death by wife, Anna Mae Ball on February 2, 2015, and one brother, Dale Ball. Survivors are daughters, Patty (Stan) Tinsley of Jackson, Tenn., Laura (Mike) Smith of Rogers, Ark., Karen (Don) Nelson of Edmond, Okla., and Daren (Stuart) McDowell of Olive Branch, Miss.; six grandchildren, Kristen (Ethan) Holland, Anna Marie (Bill) Smith, Brandon (Ashley) Smith, Rebecca (Kevin) Duncan, Amanda Nelson, and Lauren Nelson; eight great-grandchildren, Billy Smith, Claire Holland, Taytum Watson, Griffin Holland, Valkerie Smith, Jackson Duncan, Athena Smith and Emma Kate Duncan. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Burial with Masonic rites will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bismarck. Online guest register is available at www.ruggleswilcox.com.
