Elva M. Flow

Elva M. Flow, age 67, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Flow was born January 1, 1948 in Bodcaw, Arkansas to Olen and Mollie Miller. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her dog, Cricket. Mrs. Flow was a retired LPN from the VA Medical Center in Shreveport and took a lot of pride in her work. She also enjoyed traveling and antique shopping. Mrs. Flow was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Dean Flow Sr.; and two brothers, Odie and Harlan Miller. She is survived by her son, Tommy Dean Flow, Jr. of Keithville, La.; daughter, Barbara Flow Hartsfield and husband, Bobby of Stonewall, La.; brother, Wesley Miller of Keithville, La.; two grandchildren, Allison and Katelyn Hartsfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Robyn, Judy, and Valerie of Christus Hospice of Shreveport, La. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Ark. with Bro. Mickey May officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, Ark. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
