Evelyn Earl

On Nov. 28, 2015, a special angel was sent to Conway Regional Medical Center to get Evelyn Earl and take her home. She passed as she had lived with dignity and grace. Born on Tuesday Jan. 20, 1920 in Lonoke, Ark., Evelyn was the only child of the late Luther W. and Mamie E. Chase Napier. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She was also past Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Levy Chapter 577. Evelyn had most recently attended Antioch Baptist in Conway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Harvey Earl. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Whitten and husband, Ronnie of Conway; granddaughter, J. Lee Rogers and husband, Steve of Conway and great-granddaughter, Anna Rogers of Conway. Other survivors include Sue Gassaway of Conway, whom she loved like a daughter. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at Lonoke Cemetery with Rev. Tim Campbell officiating. The family wishes to say a special thank you to two special people, Dr. Vicki Stancil and Dr. James Thomas and staff for not only being Evelyn's doctors but also her friend.
