Jessie Uria Meabon, 67, of North Little Rock, Ark., transitioned October 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by parents, Cleavon Meabon Sr. and Mineola Meabon; brother, William E. Meabon. He leaves to cherish memories with a loving and dedicated wife of 46 years, LeVerta Meabon; children, Shelia (Anthony) Meabon Brooks, LaTasha (Demarco) Meabon Bell, Monique Meabon; siblings, Mylen J. (Willie) Atkins, Cleavon Meabon Jr., Brenda Jones, Angela Collins, Rev. Jearl Meabon Sr.; grandchildren, Asa Brooks, Alex Brooks, Madeline Bell, Demarco Bell II; and a host of relatives and friends.
