Patricia M. Freeman Goode

Patricia M. Freeman Goode, 54, departed this life on September 5, 2015. She was born to the bate Mr. William Freeman and the late Mrs. Bonnie Clark Freeman of DeWitt, Arkansas on January 2, 1961. Pattie, a native of Arkansas, had resided in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates since 2011. Pattie bad a love for travel. She traveled to destinations of which many could only dream. Her determination to live life to its fullest and to promote continuing self-improvement was a daily goal in which Pattie pursued with vigor. Pattie graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she fulfilled the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing. In 2010, her thesis manuscript entitled Tangles: Conversations about My Lifer was accepted and published. Her desire to promote continuing education to all, no matter what age, was always her platform and many were reached and pursued their dreams due to her enthusiasm tar education and empowerment. Pattie's love for her family was apparent and her admiration for her husband, children and grandchildren always found its way into her conversations. With love and admiration Pattie leaves her husband, Steve Goode, of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Two sons, R.A. Hornbeck and his wife Jamie and Seth Hornbeck and his wife Elaine, all of DeWitt, Arkansas. One daughter, Carey Gatdo and her husband Frank of Port Richey, Florida. Four grandchildren, Reid, Ridge, and Cooper Hornbeck, all of DeWitt Arkansas and Zarya Galdo of Port Richey, Florida, Other beloved family members include her four sisters and two brothers; Debbie Burleson and her husband Stan of DeWitt, Arkansas; Bonnie Davis and her husband Marvin of Almyra, Arkansas; Sherrie Jackson and her husband J.D. of Tontitown, Arkansas; Vicky Bacon and her husband Bill of Springdale, Arkansas; Clay Freeman arid his wife Angie of Springdale, Arkansas; and Bill Freeman and his wife Pal of Fort Worth, Texas. Pattie also (eft many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The family asks that all memorials be made to the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund or to the Pattie (Hornbeck) Goode Memorial Scholarship at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
