Thelma Jean Bradford

Thelma Jean Bradford, 85, of Mountain View, Ark. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015. She was surrounded by her family. She was born in Little Rock on Nov. 13, 1929 to George Roosevelt and Pearla Alma Milks Mitchell. On July 30, 1946 she married the love of her life, William Hamilton Bradford and they were married for 58 years until he went to be with the Lord on Aug. 7, 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Nita Brownlee, Edith Ashley, and Mary Jo McClure; one brother, Harry Daggett; grandson, Bobby Ray Baldwin and two sons-in-law, Frenchy Perry and Rodger Trichell. She is survived by four children, one son, William Leon Bradford of Alexander, Ark.; three daughters, Viola Kuhn, Sandi Trichell and Carolyn Jean Perry; son-in-law, Gary Wilhite, all of Mountain View, Ark.; two sisters, Alma Shilling of Sheridan, Ark., Letha Janet Watkins and her husband, Carl of East End; four brothers, Eugene Mitchell and wife, Fannie Mae, of Okolona, Ark.; Clifford Mitchell and wife, Selma of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; Charles Mitchell and wife Doris of Alpine, Ark.; Jonathan Val Mitchell of Okolona, Ark.; sister-in-law, Gracie Smith of Okolona, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends all of whom she loved very much. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
