Sandra Govia Rasico Davis

Sandra Govia Rasico Davis, 68, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on September 28, 2015. A memorial service and celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Sept. 30, 2015 at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock, Ark. at 6 p.m. Sandra was born in Sacramento, Calif. on December 19, 1946 to Lucille and Gerald Govia. As a young girl, Sandra moved to Little Rock with her parents and her siblings, (Bruce Taylor, Jerry, Jody, Gaylon, and Vanda Govia). Sandra married Roger Rasico Sr. and had children Rachel Nicholas (Greg), Jereme Rasico (Thanh), and a stepson Roger Rasico, Jr (Christy). Later in life, Sandra met and married Nelson Davis, who preceded her in death in 2009. Sandra was a cosmetologist for many years, but her primary role was being a wonderful mother and Memaw. Her grandchildren (Hunter & Cole Nicholas, Gianna and Sasha Rasico) were the light of her life. She loved each of us, child and grandchild alike---fully, uniquely, and completely. Sandra never met a stranger; she had an outgoing personality and a zest for life. She filled the room with laughter, sunshine and love. Anyone who spent any time with Sandra walked away with a smile on their face and a bigger smile on their heart. You truly knew you were loved when you were loved by Sandra.
