LaVerne Leon Radke

LaVerne Leon Radke, 73, of Roland, Arkansas died July 31, 2016. Born January 4, 1943 in Great Bend, Kansas, he was the son of Leon and Gladys Riggs Radke. A member of Christ the King Catholic Church, he loved UFC, MMA and Pro-football. He was a supervisor with Philips Lighting for over 30 years. He was presently employed by Advanced Bath and Kitchen as plant manager in Little Rock. Preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, James Radke, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marva Saum Radke; one son, Derik Radke (Lisa) and one daughter, Rachelle (James), all of Little Rock; sisters, Lynda Wickstrum, Carolyn Torrey (John), Betty Hudson (Robert Wayne), Gladys Baldwin, Grace Kingry, Elsie Martinez and Phyllis Mehang; brothers, Eugene (Susan) and Dwight (Susanne) Radke; four grandchildren, Dylan, Lori, Halie, and Kai; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 8, at 1 p.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church, Msgr. Francis I. Malone as Celebrant. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society.
