Carl Lewis Roberts

Carl Lewis Roberts, 56, of Little Rock, Ark. and a long-time resident of Washington, D.C., transitioned August 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by: parents, Cornelius Roberts and Merline Bass; and sister, Kelly Redus. Carl leaves to cherish his memory with: siblings, Edward (Bryndalyn) Roberts, Simone Ajaero (Theon) Barnes, Christopher (Stacey) Roberts, Stephanie (Myron) Jackson; close friend, Lonnie Soloman; and a host of relatives and friends. Carl was a devoted son, loving brother and uncle, and dear friend. He was also a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and active in the Washington, DC Alumni Chapter. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and was a budget analyst for the Department of Interior after retiring from the United States Air Force.
