Thomas Lee Rogerson

Thomas "Tom" Lee Rogerson of Springdale died Dec. 7, 2016. He was born March 22, 1936, in Erie, Pa., the son of Thomas Kirk and Beulah Webster Rogerson. Rogerson was a graduate of McDowell High School in Erie and of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in forestry and a master's degree in watershed management. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a research hydrologist for 26 years. He worked as co-owner of Computers Plus in Springdale, one of the first computer stores in Northwest Arkansas, for 21 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springdale since 1970 and served as an elder and on the stewardship committee for many years. He enjoyed golf, Razorback athletics, working in his yard and, most of all, his grandchildren. Rogerson was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert G. Rogerson. Rogerson is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peg" Lundgren Rogerson, his son Thomas "Kirk" Rogerson, wife Julie and their children, Kristin and Connor, of Springdale; his son Donald "Scott" Rogerson, wife Susan and their children, Campbell and Bunny, of Fayetteville; his son Kevin James Rogerson, wife Dawn and their children, Kade and Kamden, of Fayetteville; his brother James Kirk "Jim" Rogerson and wife Carol of Richmond, Va.; and his sister-in-law Vicky Rogerson of Springdale. Memorial service is at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in Springdale.
