Oda Mae Morgan

Oda Mae McCowen Morgan, 75, of Ada Valley, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. She was born May 19, 1941 in Plum Bayou, Arkansas, a daughter of Tollie Curtis McCowen and Gladys Tilda Ward McCowen. She was the widow of Leslie Palmer Morgan Jr., and was a member of Ada Valley Community Church. Mae and her twin sister Faye played basketball together at Plum Bayou High School winning trophies and making great memories. She also enjoyed time with her pets on her front porch. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Brenning of Little Rock; sisters-in-law, Maxine McCowen and Shirley Coney both of Little Rock; nieces and nephews, Debbie Collie, Ricky McCowen, Randy McCowen, Melissa McCowen, Renee Caldwell, Chris McCowen, Josh Brenning; and her beloved pet Kitty Tom. Other than her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, D. D. McCowen, and Bruce McCowen; sisters, Norma Jean Bass and Mae's twin, Faye Wilkerson. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 31, at Ada Valley Community Church with Dr. Randy Caldwell, Rev. Dean Caldwell and Bro. Denis La Cook officiating.
