Raymond Anthony Waldrup, age 73, of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Mt. Vernon. He was born December 26, 1942 in Blytheville, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Waldrup of Mt. Vernon; three sons, Raymond Anthony Waldrup, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Kenneth Ray Waldrup of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, George Andrew Waldrup of Jacksonville, Arkansas; two daughters, Margaret Ann Sohn and husband Tony of Naples, Florida, Theresa Louise Hudgins and husband Brian of Anchorage, Alaska; one brother, Harry Waldrup and wife Angie of Strawberry, Arkansas; one sister, Molly Burnett of Hardy, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mame Waldrup; one daughter, Shirley Ann Buss; and one brother-in-law, Bob Burnett. The family plans a small, private service to remember his life.
