Floyd Herman Prater, 87, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. He was born January 7, 1929 to the late George and Norma Prater. He was a member of Mt. Sinai #749, Free and Accepted Masons, retired from Colonial Baking Company and was a self-employed businessman. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Prater (Sandra), of Jacksonville, Arkansas; daughters, Vonda Pratt (George), of La Jolla, California, Becky Cinader (Dan) of Ortonville, Michigan and Karen Pike (David) of Farmington, Arkansas; a honorary daughter, Kay Hart; grandchildren, Kyle Prater (Christy), Whitney Ivey (Spencer), Jacob (Nikki), Matthew and Luke Cinader, Grace and Audrey Pike,; great-grandchildren, Ava Prater, Nolan Cinader, Shepherd Ivey, and Lilyahna Ophelia Cinader (due February 19, 2016). He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Ophelia Douglass Prater; brothers, Lloyd, Louie and Treber Prater and his sister, Claudine Bruton. Memorials may be made to Baptist Health Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Ste. 2000, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210-2820 or Arkansas Children's Hospital, 800 Marshall Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
