Patricia Ann Eiland-Freeman, 70, went to be with her Lord on February 9, 2016. Patricia was born in Floydata, Texas, to Orba R. Eiland and Minnie Lucille Marrow-Eiland on August 22, 1945. She graduated from Lockney Texas High School in 1963 and attended Texas Tech in 1965. She worked in the cosmetology industry for 25 years and previously in the child care & hospitality industries. She enjoyed reading, gardening, pets, working, giving, loving and caring for her family & friends. Patricia is preceded by her parents, Orba and Minnie, her daughter Amy Michelle, and her sister, Doris Melton-Eiland. Patricia is survived by her husband of 28 years, J. Stan Freeman, her brother Shannon O. Eiland of Hernando, Mississippi, her daughter Melissa Ann Eiland-Ramirez of Lubbock, Texas, her son, Nathan L. Freeman of New York, New York, and her sisters, Veda M. Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Jo Simmons of Mascoutah, Illinois, and Jacquelyn Cornett of Amarillo, Texas. Patricia was a loving, devoted wife and mother, with a strong faith in God and with many gifts in service to her family, friends, and loved ones. A Memorial Service will be at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Arkansas, on Saturday, February 13, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at http://www.epilepsy.com/make-difference/ways-give. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Vincent Medical Center and Arkansas Hospice, for their care and support in her final days.
