Mardonio "Mardo" Hernandez

Mardonio "Mardo" Hernandez, 65, of Springdale, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home. He was born August 18, 1950 in Cuautepec, Hidalgo, Mexico to Mardonio and Maria Elena Lozano Hernandez. From the time he was a child he enjoyed cars and from his father learned to fix them as well as most any other thing. He always said he married an "amazing woman" and devoted his life to her and his family. Mardo was a great cook and found joy in pleasing his family with their favorite dish. He also loved God's creation and gardening. Mardo was a diligent, hard worker throughout his life and had worked for Tyson for nearly the past 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Cristina; three children, Elsie, Nahun and Mardonio; his mother; three sisters, Georgina, Maria and Reyna; and six grandchildren, Mauricio, Alexander, Noah, Matthew, Antonio and Nehemiah. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, at Apostolic Life Church in Springdale. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery.
