Tom B Terry

Tom B. Terry (Col. USA Ret.), 82 of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on June 20, 2016. He was born to Milburn and Theo Terry on October 9, 1933. Col. Terry served in the Korean War with the 187th Regimental Combat Team (Rakkasans). After his return from the war, he joined the Arkansas Army National Guard. He served in numerous positions with the 142nd Field Artillery and concluded his 38 years of service with the State Headquarters at Camp Robinson. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Kenneth and Duane Terry. He is survived by his wife, Diann; his children, LaNita McKinney (Rick) of Fayetteville, Ark., Marci Dickinson (Tim) of Gentry, Ark., Nicki Crawford (Tom) of Tallassee, Ala., Shiloh Lyons of Cabot, Ark., Jaime Briggs (Stephen) of Cabot, Ark., Aaron Terry (Tessa) of Andrews, S.C.; his grandchildren, Cara Dickinson, Paisley Spain (Noah), Lacy McKinney, Catlin, Connor, and Catherine Crawford, McKynzie, Jacobi, and Derrick Briggs, Anya and Rocky Lyons, Dakota Terry; and his mother-in-law, Willodean Chatterton of Harrison, Ark. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock, Ark. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Terry Cemetery in Sunset, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas Food Bank or any food pantry that provides food for hungry children or to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
