Ollie Minchew

Ollie Minchew, 88, of Cominto, Ark., died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Ark. She was born in Dermott, Ark., a daughter of the late Rubuen and Viola Southern Sikes. She loved to sew and make quilts. Mrs. Minchew also enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Garland Minchew; son, Milton Leroy Minchew; daughter, Patsy Ann Wells. Survivors include sons, Mike Minchew and his wife, Karen and Clarence R. Minchew, all of Cominto, Ark.; daughter, Glenda Wolfe of Malvern; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGhee, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dippy Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Rash Cemetery in Drew County, Ark.
