Louise Edwards Goodwin

Louise Edwards Goodwin, 86, of Scott, Arkansas was born March 17, 1930 in Sheridan, Arkansas and died November 21, 2016. She was a homemaker and faithful helpmate to her predeceased husband, Joe Dale Goodwin, as he pastored a number of Missionary Baptist Churches in Arkansas and Texas. She also accompanied him to mission fields in Peru and Romania. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Jo Ann and Larry Henry and Linda and Mike Patterson; one son, Mark Goodwin; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother, Eddie Edwards; a special niece, Lila Walters; and a number of other relatives. Funeral service will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Conway Street, North Little Rock, with burial to follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Baptist Seminary, 5224 Stagecoach Rd., Little Rock, 72204.
