Laura Marie (Heflin) Shaloski

Laura Marie (Heflin) Shaloski passed away peacefully in her sleep at 1345 PDST, 15 September 2016, in Hemet, Calif. At the time of her death, she was being cared for by the JMP Care Home, Hemet, Calif. and by the Sunset Hospice, of Sierra Madre, Calif. She was cremated and interred with her devoted husband, Raymond R. Shaloski, at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. on October 4, 2016. While she had a long and interesting life living in places such as Fonda, Iowa and Chicago, Ill., she was best known in the Los Angeles area as the Owner/Broker of Red Carpet Realty, a job she truly loved. She is survived by her step-son, Michael A. Shaloski Sr. (Gay Lynne) of Perryville, Ark,; her son, Eugene A. Pawlik Sr. (Ann Marie) of Enterprise, Ala.; her daughter, Jeanette Maria Vanbuskirk of Hayward, Wis.; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral was conducted by Miller-Jones Mortuary and Crematory of Sun City, Calif. there was no viewing or graveside service at her request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated. May she rest in peace in the House of the Lord.
