Dakota Cheyenne Holt, 18, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away October 25, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born December 18, 1997 in Gravette, Arkansas to Paul Michael and Galia Rachelle Weaver Holt. Dakota was a Bull Rider with the Rodeo Association and a devoted Christian. He won two National Bull Rider Novice Titles and Nation Champ Pro Division NCBR and 4th in the standings with the NFPB Division and many other Buckles and Championships. Dakota was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Paul Michael Holt and Galia Weaver Holt of Quitman, brother James Holt of Quitman and sister Abigail Holt of Quitman. Dakota is also survived by grandparents Jim and Shelia Weaver of Quitman, Jim and Connie Holt of Guy and Great-Grandparents Galia and Charlie Lewis; uncles Jeromy Weaver of Fort Worth, Texas, Dustin and Kelli Weaver of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dennis Holt of Guy and John Holt of Siloam Springs; as well as numerous other family, friends and relatives. Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Quitman Bulldog Complex (Gym). Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Stan Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Fairbanks Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Holt, Robert Weaver, Jon Holt, Josh Chance, Jake Chance, Jared De Salvo, Joey Ring and Ben Hays. Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.
