Stanley Eugene Hester

Stanley Eugene Hester, 86, of Benton, passed away September 27, 2016. He was born July 5, 1930 in Paron, Arkansas to the late Jasper Newton and Helen Pearl Kirkpatrick Hester. Stanley was of the Pentecostal faith and was retired from Reynolds Metals. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cheryl Hester. Stanley is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita Chism Hester of Benton, daughter, Karen Lea (Ike) Carter of Benton, brothers, Richard (Betty) Hester and Melvin (Alene) Hester both of Benton, sister, Audrey Rudkins of Sheridan, grandson, Ike Carter IV and great granddaughter, Jillian Marie Carter. Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Church with Rev. Jerry Whitley officiating. Burial will follow at Social Hill Cemetery.
