Genevieve Burton

Genevieve Louallen Hudson Burton, age 86, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. She was born March 12, 1931 in Roosevelt, Okla. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Elta Rickard Louallen; husband, R. L. "Jax" Burton, Jr. and seven sisters, Nettie Louallen, Gordie Hollowoa, Eunice Travis, Alma Keller, Louise Nelson, Melba Louallen and Edith Cook. She is survived by two daughters, Jenny (Richard) Hillman of Benton and Kim (Tom Harkness) Stephens of Ft. Worth, Texas; two step-sons, Freddie (Brenda) Burton and Joe (Jamie) Burton all of Benton; step-daughter, Becky Burton; sister, Zettie Cox of Avilla; five grandchildren, Jennifer McLellan, Leighanne Alford, Sarah VanPatter, Luke Stephens and Kaitlyn Stephens; four great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
