William Earl McGhee

William Earl McGhee, age 83, of Benton passed away Thursday April 13, 2017. He was born March 5, 1934 in Casa, Arkansas. Earl was retired from ABF Trucking, a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and a member of the Congo United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim McGhee and Arizona Robinson McGhee, wife, Sallie McGhee, several brothers and sisters. Survivors, Sons and daughter-in-law, Stewart (Carolyn) McGhee, Bryant; Keith McGhee, Oklahoma; sister, Molly Gober, Missouri; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday before the services. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.
