Stephen Wallace Tucker, 36, entered into peace January 9, 2017. Stephen was born June 8, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Howard and Joy Tucker. He was a graduate of Bryant High School. Stephen was a gifted guitarist, songwriter, IT programmer and software developer. His gifts touched many lives and his talent was nothing short of amazing. Stephen was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wallace and Jettie Mae Tucker, and maternal grandparents, Dolores Smith and John Hunziker. Stephen is survived by parents, Howard and Joy Tucker of Bryant; sister and brother-in-law, Emily Ferrand and Christopher Ferrand of Bartlett, Tenn.; nieces, Kynley Joy Ferrand and Nora Kate Ferrand; aunts, Cherry Whittington and husband Loyd, Sarah Katherine Miller, and Judy Lepper and husband George; girlfriend, Failla Grimes; beloved dog, Clara Belle; and a host of family members and friends who loved him and poured into his life. Stephen had a special bond with his Aunt Kathy who was always there for him and loved him through it all. His aunt Cherry was his biggest encourager. Sean Michel was his closest friend and was like a brother to Stephen. The family wishes to thank Pastor Chad Denmon, who poured his love and the love of Christ to our Stephen. We also want to thank everyone who has helped our son and loved him through his many struggles. If you are reading this and struggle with depression, suicidal thoughts or addiction, please seek help. Jay Newman, following at 11 a.m., music performed by Sean Michel. Burial: Pickett Cemetery, Calhoun County, 3 p.m. Family requests memorials be made to charity of your choice.
