Nancy Weddle

Nancy L. Weddle, 98 of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on July 7, 2017. She was born in Hunt, New York on March 26, 1919. Nancy served as a Corpsman (surgical tech/nurse) in the United States Army during Korea. She continued to serve by working as a volunteer at the Veterans Hospital for a number of years where she would bring her beloved dog Emma to help bring joy to the patients. Nancy loved serving and caring for others and had a smile that would light up any room she entered; she was a joy to be around and also enjoyed dancing. Nancy is survived by her close friends; Edmund J and Melanie Adams, Allen and Rachele Waters, Michael and Mary Farruggia, Patrick and Britteny Bass, Debbie Messer, Alberta Tank and a host of other friends. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. A memorial service and interment of the urn will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas at a later date.
