Otha Irwin Dorn, Jr., 67, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, left this world to join his Savior and Heavenly Father on Friday, February 24, 2017, with his two oldest daughters by his side. He attended First Assembly of God North Little Rock. He was born on June 8, 1949, to Otha Irwin Dorn Sr. and Lorene Hutson Dorn in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by both parents, a son, Larry Dorn, brother, Bill Dorn, and great-granddaughter, Angel Wyatt. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Dorn Wyatt of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Melissa Dorn Bratton (Lance) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jennifer Dorn of Malvern, Arkansas; grandchildren, Shelby, Josh and Hannah Wyatt of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Bailee Wyatt of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Alexandria and William Bratton of Little Rock, Arkansas, Otha "Jake" and Jasmine Dorn and Christopher Smith of Malvern, Arkansas; his great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Zmudzinski, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, siblings, Rosalie Douglass (David) of Tull, Arkansas, Laura Butler (Jack) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jack Dorn (Carol) of Houston, Texas, John Dorn (Elisa) of Vidor, Texas, his brother, Bill's wife Bonnie Dorn of Vidor, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and two very special men he loved like sons, Brian Moore and Blake Hughes, along with many other friends and extended family. He attended Carlisle High School. Spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest joy in life. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed dearly. Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, March 3, 2017, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas, with visitation at 1 p.m., with service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas, immediately following, with B.J. Dorn officiating. Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or New Hope Cemetery Fund, c/o Pat White, 3980 Hwy. 236E, Carlisle, Ark. 72024. The family would like to thank Drs. St. Pierre, Azfal, Rayburn, Meadors, Hefner and Drs. Robert and Mary Searcy at St. Vincent's Hospital, along with all the nurses who took excellent care of Otha during his almost two weeks there.
