Verval Otela Alexander

Verval Otela Alexander, 91, of Little Rock, passed away February 28, 2017. She was born November 8, 1925, in Dardanelle, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Taylor, her husband, Oliver Franklin Alexander, son, Edward Lamar Alexander, one brother, Wayne Taylor, and two sisters, Marilyn McClure and Retha Lawry. Verval "Grandma Bubba" was homemaker and member of the Apostolic Christian Center in Benton. She was a Christian woman who lived her life for Jesus and her family. She is survived by her six children, Tommy Alexander, Ruth McElroy, Lillian (W.C.) Small, Sharon Morehart, Martha (Charlie) Horn and Roger (Linda) Alexander; two sisters, Rena Kirkpatrick and Joann Tucker; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other friends and family. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, at 9 a.m. with services beginning at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Center, 20121 Interstate 30, Benton 72015, Pastor Scott McElroy officiating.
