Anne Steuart Crise McNabb, 94, died March 6, 2017 of natural causes in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland January 3, 1923 the daughter of Howard Lynne Crise and Anna Steuart Crise. Her siblings Elizabeth Crise Swaney and Howard Lynne Crise, Jr, preceded her in death. During World War II she was enlisted in the WAVES and served at the Navel Air Station, Memphis, Tennessee. She was married to the late Clifford McNabb of Pocahontas, Arkansas for forty-four years until his illness and death. Mrs. McNabb was a homemaker and active social and civic volunteer. She was a life long member of the Methodist Church, a Girl Scout leader and President of the Crowley Ridge Girl Scout Council, and board member of the Pocahontas Public Library, board member of the Arkansas State University Museum of Art and founding member of the Chapter Ark. of the PEO Sisterhood in 1952, and a bronze Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League. Her two daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy and Loyd Phillips of Springdale and Lynne and Jim Walton of Bentonville, survive her. Also six grandchildren, MacKenzie Phillips and wife, Deb; Joanne Phillips, Annie Proietti and husband, Joey; Steuart Walton, Tom Walton and wife, Olivia; and James Walton. and four great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Gabriel Phillips and Cora Lynne and Louis Proietti. The family will have a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation to your favorite charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
