Grace Peters

Grace Jacqualine Shackelford White Peters, 93, of Muldrow, Okla., passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in Sallisaw, Okla. She was born Aug. 22, 1923 in Moffett, Okla., to Buford C. Shackelford and Ida (McMinn) Shackelford. She was a former seamstress for Fort Smith Chair and was a longtime member of Muldrow First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mack White and Ray Peters, two grandchildren, Cheryl McMullins and Richard Lewis White, and two brothers, B.C. Shackelford and Bill Shackleford. She is survived by three children, Mack Junior White of Belfair, Wash., Jackie Davis and husband Clifford of Muldrow, Okla., C.L. White and wife Charlotte of Queen Creek, Ariz., one sister Vera George of Springdale, Ark., seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 13 at Muldrow First Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 14 at Muldrow First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Shawn Money officiating. Burial will follow at Muldrow Memorial Gardens in Muldrow.
