Lodo Camille (Elsie) Keith, 90, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017 at Briarwood Rehab Center. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Keith was born January 12, 1927 in Youngsville, Louisiana to Alcide David and Lodo Ozanne David. Elsie was a very dedicated wife and mother. She was married to Col. Norman Keith for 56 years. As a military officer's wife, Elsie was actively involved in the community, volunteering in many areas. Elsie embraced her time traveling overseas, visiting many different countries and experienced living in Germany for several years. Elsie was an active member in the Catholic Church. Her interest included cooking, hosting formal and informal dinners, sewing, crafts, reading, golf, and spending time with her family. Elsie was the proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four sisters, Ruth Sprung, Verna Hunt, Alice Landry, and Blanche McElroy. She is survived by her sister, Grace (Raymond) Elias; two sons, Steven Keith and wife, Rhonda and Mark Keith and wife, Sondra; five grandchildren, Michael Keith and wife, Amanda, Joshua Keith, Spencer Keith and wife, Molly, Travis Keith and wife, Angie and Preston Keith; and four great-grandchildren, Lily Keith, Caroline Keith, Collin Keith, and Hunter Keith. The family would like to thank the CNAs and nurses that provided great care giving during the last years of her life. A visitation will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017. A family graveside service will be held Monday, April 3, 2017. The family request that memorials be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 7202-3591, St. Michael's Catholic Church, 105 West South Street, Leesville, Louisiana 71446.
