James Steven Good, of Biloxi, age 63, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, in his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Good and mother, Marie Maupin Good. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Glenda Joyce Hardin Good, and sons, Daniel (Elizabeth) Good, and Ty Good; grandchildren, Antonio, Isabella and Sophia Good. Steve was an ordained Southern Baptist minister and pastored churches in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Mablevale, Arkansas. He has provided pulpit supply in churches in Dumas, Ark., Phoenix, Ariz., and Biloxi, Miss. He has conducted services in nursing homes and continual care communities in Bryant, Ark. and Phoenix, Ariz. He is a former newspaper journalist for publications in Pine Bluff, Camden, Russelville, and Malvern, all in the state of Arkansas. He has been an IT specialist, administrator and trainer. He has been a career college educator in schools of Little Rock, Ark. and Phoenix, Ariz. His education is a B.A. from Hendrix College, Conway, Ark. and a Master's degree from Bible College and Seminary in Independence, Mo. Steve was a mighty warrior of the cross. He remained faithful and true to his Savior. A Memorial Service will be conducted later in the state of Arkansas. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Merit Health Biloxi and to St. Joseph's Hospice. Your kindness and concern will never be forgotten.
