Richard Laverne Severns

Richard Laverne Severns, 72, of Redfield, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at his home, with daughter Dawn at his side. He was born Oct. 22, 1945 in Illinois to the late Clifford and Naomi Wright Severns. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a self-employed Convenience store owner. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Mark Severns and an Infant sister. Survivors include two daughters, Dawn (Mike) Maple of Redfield, Melody (Randy) Edmonds of Jessieville; one son, Shane (Keri) Severns of Bolivar, Ill; three brothers, Alan Lashbrook, Mike Lashbrook, James Severns; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System and Hospice Home Care. A private family memorial will happen at a later date.
