Marilyn Lou Tefteller

Marilyn Lou Tefteller, 72 of Carlisle, passed away Sept. 30, 2017. Marilyn retired from working for the city of Carlisle after 14 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and never missed one of her grandchildren's games. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Tefteller; one son Keith Tefteller of Carlisle; one daughter, Lisa VanHouten of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Ryan Simmons, Peyton VanHouten, and Zac VanHouten; one brother,Eddie Moore; three sisters, Walsie Jennings, Charlene Highfill, and Peggy Lucas (Luke); a very special niece, Becky Majors (Jon) and a host of nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edison and Grace Moore; one brother, Wilburn Moore, and three sisters, Loretta Seymore, Colleen Burnett, and Lucille Moore. Visitation for Marilyn will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 followed by her service at 11 a.m., in the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen.
