Martha Lynn Sterling

Martha Lynn Sterling of North Little Rock, died September 11, 2017 in Culpeper, Virginia. Born May 12, 1956 in Little Rock to Philip J. Sterling and Frances Woodson Sterling, she grew up in Little Rock and Fairfax, Virginia. She attended Congressional School in Arlington, Virginia and George Mason University. Martha was an avid reader, gifted artist and had a deep love for animals. She is survived by three children, daughter, Shoreh Kooshesh Irani and her husband Plomarz Irani of Vienna, Virginia, daughter, Pari Koohesh of Fairfax, Virginia and son, Ari Kooshesh of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her grandsons were her greatest joy in life: Darius Farshchian, Arman Farshchian, Siavash Irani and Johan Irani. In addition to her parents, Martha is also survived by her three siblings, Laurie Sterling Myers of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Philip J. Sterling of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Kathryn Sterling Herrmann of Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Scheherazade Kooshesh.
