Linda Sharon Ham Turner

Linda Sharon Ham Turner, age 68 of Camden, Ark., passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. She was born in Arkadelphia, Ark., on Aug. 17, 1949 to the late Floyd Daniel and Ethel Mae Ham. A graduate of Arkadelphia High School, she attended Ouachita Baptist University for one year. After moving with her family to Camden in 1980 she worked for Highland Industrial Park and later for Watts Department Store. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carol Ham, and sister, Wanda Ross. Sharon was married 49 years to the love of her life, Mike Turner on Aug. 9, 1968. She lived her life with love and kindness, always putting her family first. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and loved going to Small Group Ladies Tuesday night Bible Study headed by their special friend Gwen Candler. Sharon is survived by her husband, Mike Turner, son, Brad Turner both of Camden, Ark.; three grandchildren, Noah Turner and Peyton Roy of Camden, Ark., and Payton Turner of Magnolia, Ark.; two brothers, James Ham and wife, Joyce and Roy (Peewee) Ham and wife, Carolyn both of Arkadelphia, Ark. The family will receive friends at Proctor Funeral Home Monday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday at Hillside Baptist Church with Brother's Shane Russell and Jay Ham officiating. Interment will follow in Richland Cemetery in Arkadelphia. God blessed the world with a special woman like you.
