Dwain Ezell, 74, longtime resident of the Siloam Springs area passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Saint Simeon's Senior Community in Tulsa. Dwain was born on January 28, 1943 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, a son of Clarence "Wesley" Ezell and Bernice Irene Oxford Ezell. He was a farmer in the Weddington Community for many years, enjoyed horseback riding, playing the Dobro, guitar, and violin and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Ezell and Wife Mary of Bixby, Okla.; niece, Stacy Sears and husband Eric of Bixby, Okla.; nephew, Mark Ezell and wife Dana of Bixby, Okla.; two great-nieces and two great-nephews; along with many cousins, other family members and friends. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 1 2017 at 2 p.m. Pastor Phil Misenheimer will officiate the service.
