John William "Bill" Measels

John William "Bill" Measels, 74, of Cabot, passed away Thursday, Sept, 7, 2017. He was born on June 20, 1943 in Wilmar, Ark., to the late John and Doris Measels. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air National Guard. Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo "BJ" Measels; his children, John Thomas (Jodi) Measels of McKinney, Texas and Laurel Joette (Sawall) Measels of Schoolcraft, Mich.; his brothers, Gerald of Searcy, Bobby Glen of Carlisle and Carlton Measels of Deshay, Ark,; his five grandchildren; a host of loving nieces and nephews, and also special friends of Bill's, Fred (Linda) Campbell and Tom (Donna) Healea. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot.
