Lewis E. Riggle

Lewis E. Riggle of Cincinnati. Beloved husband of the late Alice Brehm Riggle. Loving father of the late Alice Anne Northup and Michael Riggle. Cherished grandfather of Alice (Jack) Sowers and William Fisher. Great grandfather of William, Rory and Alice Vivian Sowers. Passed away Aug. 30, 2017 at the age of 93 after a brief illness. Born in Canton, Ohio to Lewis and Merle Riggle, Lewis served in World War II, where he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and a Purple Heart. After a distinguished 30-year career in the Air Force, as part of the Strategic Air Command, Lewis retired as a Lt. Colonel. He spent his retirement traveling internationally with his wife and the love of his life, Alice. He was a stubborn and honorable man who will be missed.
