Mary Catherine Malone Spaulding

MARY CATHERINE MALONE SPAULDING, 89, of Little Rock passed away Sept. 14, 2017. She was born in London, Ark., on Nov. 25, 1927 to Alma and Cecil L. Malone Sr. She graduated from high school at the age of 13 and was hired to teach high school, English and Math, upon completion of her schooling. She is survived by her one brother, C.L. (Betty) Malone, Jr.; one step-daughter, Carolyn S. Mann; her nephew and beloved godson, Carter Malone, nieces and nephews, Linda Pledger, Teresa Bechtel, Brenda Breckling, Pick Malone, Martin Malone, Frances S. Johnson, Margaret S. Roberts; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and other loved family members; She is also survived by her lifelong friends, Myrna Myers and Jill McKenzie. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Ave., Little Rock, Ark. 72204. Online obituary at www.SmithFamiyCares.com.
