Allie Rae Sawrie, 80, of Higden, Arkansas went to be with the lord on September 16, 2017. Allie was born on February 18, 1937 to Robert Ray Cook and Lola Gladys Bradke Cook in Enola, Arkansas. Allie was a homemaker and helped her husband, Vernon Sawrie run their service station in Conway for over 30 years. She was a member of Higden Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Vernon Sawrie, sister, Lola Mae McIntyre, and daughter, Pamela Diane Thacker. Allie is survived by her sister, Easter Faye McDaniel, her four children, Jawanda Holloway (Bill), Curtis Sawrie (Kimberly), Marsha Cox (Kendall), and Byron Sawrie (Wanda), eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation for Allie on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bishop Crites Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Bishop Crites Funeral Home. Ted Knight will be officiating with interment at Heffington Cemetery, under the direction of Bishop-Crites Funeral Home.
