Emma Walker

Emma Hall Walker, 100, of Springdale, died Friday, September 22, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born October 11, 1916 in Pioche, Nevada, to Harold Elias and Lucy Truman Hall. Emma married Glen Walker on December, 31, 1934 in Fallon, Nevada. They moved to the Brush Creek community near Springdale in 1946. Emma was an accomplished china painter and enjoyed teaching others. She also enjoyed doing genealogical work. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, four brothers, two sisters, and a grandson, Brent Hall Arthurs. Emma is survived by three children, Edward Glen Walker, Mildred Rae Young (Charles), Barbara Ann Arthurs (Harold); three sisters, Wilma Aebischer, Malinda Bagnell, Mickey Harmon; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 29, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Springdale. Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery.
