James David Bell

James David Bell, age 75, of McGehee passed Sunday, August 5, 2018 at McGehee Hospital in McGehee, Ark. James was born August 9, 1942 in Eudora, AR. He is the son of the late Lonzo and Ruby Bell. He married Tammy Lynn Bell. He served in the Army from October of 1961 to June of 1967 when he was released back to State of Arkansas National Guard where he continued to serve for four more years. He was employed by J.D. Bell Welding as a Welder. J.D. was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Sue Bell, Parents; brother, David Bell; one grandchild, T.J. Bell. Survivors are wife; Tammy Bell, one son; Jimmy (Connie) Bell, of Lake Village, three daughters; Kimberly (Darin) Graham of Lake Village, Karla (Mike) Albritton of Monticello, and Bridgett (Brandon) Knight of McGehee; two sisters, Margaret Merritt of Mississippi. and Margie Green of Jerome; three step-daughters; Patricia, Mandy, and Jacquie, 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, August 9 from 5-8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, August 10, at Bayou Mason Church. Burial to follow in Bayou Mason Cemetery.
