On July 13, 1969, he married Alice Dawn Ott in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas and is lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 49 years. McMillan and wife Alice of Texarkana, Texas; his sister Shirley McMillan Hickman of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his brother-in-law William E. Ott II of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Alton was predeceased by his sister Frances McMillan and his parents. He was also dearly loved by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members plus a host of friends. Alton's unselfish love for family and friends, his dry wit, and always caring words in his soft-spoken manner will not soon be forgotten. This good and faithful servant has now gone to share his Master's happiness. A gathering of family and friends will celebrate Alton's life with a gathering at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, 650 Central Landing Blvd., Conway, Arkansas on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 12:00 pm.
