Benedetto Renda

Benedetto "Benny" Renda, 62, of Little Rock died July 23, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. Born July 21, 1956 in Little Rock, he was the son of James Peter and Bobbie Zell Prather Renda. Benny graduated from Catholic High School in 1974 and the University of Arkansas in 1978. An avid Razorback fan, he loved his grandchildren, his family and Karaoke. He had two spider monkeys growing up and he frequently told stories about them. He was the life of the party and enjoyed good music, good friends, and good drinks. His career with K Mart, Best Buy and K B Toys took him around the country. He is survived by his daughters, Cassie Renda (Matt Fowler) of Springfield, Missouri and Chelsea Seely (Jason) of Holland, Michigan; sister, Elaine Renda of Little Rock; grandchildren, Luca Salvadore Renda and Izy Fowler; and many cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Rd., Little Rock 72209 with Father Mark Wood, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. this evening, (Wednesday) in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111.
