Clifford McClard

Clifford McClard, age 85, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born November 7, 1932 in Mississippi the son of the late Cecil and Ethel Wilson McClard. Clifford was retired maintenance supervisor at Reynolds Metal Company, served six years as Hot Spring County Solid Waste Administrator and was a cattleman. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janis Aleene Ledbetter McClard and three sisters. Survivors are one daughter, Donna Pearson (Mike) of Benton, LA, one son, Randy McClard of Bismarck, four grandchildren, Brock McClard (Megan) of Allen, TX, Kyle McClard of Dallas, TX, Jordan Pearson (Heather) of Bossier City, LA, and Jentry Pearson of Houston, TX, LA, three great grandchildren, Brooklyn McClard, Barnes and Webb Pearson, and one brother, Marlin McClard of Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Christ Morrison and Bro. Alan Cansler officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prairie Bayou Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brock and Kyle McClard, Jordan and Jentry Pearson, Tyler and Ryan Thornton, Jeremy Norris and John Clements.
