Franklin "Buddy" Audley Bolton Jr.

Franklin "Buddy" Audley Bolton Jr., 90, went to be with his Lord on March 6th, 2018. Born in Searcy, he was a lifelong Baptist and member of West Race Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his family. He challenged them to always love the Lord and do their best at whatever they did. He served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII but returned to Searcy to work with his father at the car dealership until his retirement. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Waynel (Rascoe) Bolton, his parents Audley and Pearl Bolton, and one sister Evelyn Forrest. Buddy is survived by sister, Linda Jean (Bolton) Byrd. Children, James Franklin Bolton (Karla) of Hot Springs, Gordon Bolton (Patty) of Toney Alabama, and Rosa Nell Roberts (Wayne) of Searcy, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. All knew him as "D-Dad" as he enjoyed their company and shared his loved for model trains with each one. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Celebration Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at West Race Baptist Church in Searcy with Bro, Joey McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
