Pastor Lloyd Summons, 94, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life April 29, 2018. He was preceded in death by: wife, Thelomae (Stella) Summons; parents, Bill and Coreen Summons; brothers, Deacon Eugene Summons and Rev. S. V. Summons Sr.; sisters, Eloise Summons and Florence Jenkins. Pastor Summons loved Pastored West Macedonia Baptist Church of Scott, Ark. for 23 years and Paradise Baptist Church of North Little Rock for 41 years. He leaves to cherish memory: children, Deacon Arelius Summons, Velma Summons-Givan, Louise (Charles) Boone, Deacon Charles (Wilma) Summons, Doris (Carl) Young, Jeanettee (Arnett) Charles-Summons, Terry (Michelle) Summons; sisters, Esther Lee Summons, Eddie Mae Mahone, Dorothy McCoy, Lucille James, Willie Mae Shorty; one brother, Albert (Caroline) Summons; thirty three grandchildren; sixty-two great grandchildren, twenty one great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
